Title: S Plus Reel Error 41

All, I need to find a replacement reel for my S2000 plus slot. I refurbished this thing from a garage find and it worked for about 2 months then it just started getting the error 41. If I move the reel to position 2 i get error 42 and 3 error 43 so I assume its the reel. It looks fine and nothing is touching it.


 Where can I buy a new one quickly?
On another note how much is this thing worth?

Try blowing out the optics on the reel with compressed air or take the reel basket off and clean them.  Follow the wires you will find them.

Thanks for all the help thus far! I cannot remember how to reset this machine. In other words how to I get it to remove the 41 and try again. It has been a few months since I had to do it. When I turn the key on the outside it puts me in a menu phase but then reverts back to 41 without trying to spin the wheels again.

Opening and closing the door should do it as long as door optics are good

So I had a reel from a s2000 that I ordered wrongly so I change out the sensor and I could not get it to reset. That led me to finding my door sensor had a wire knocked off. I hard wired that and everything works! I have ordered both a new wheel and new sensors. The only thing left is the dollar machine. It does not take dollars when you try to put them in. May just have to replace the entire bill machine.

Is this same machine? You may need a set15 chip to enable it.

Yes same machine. When I turn on the machine it runs back and forth like its clearing itself but when I try to put a dollar in it nothing happens.

No it has not but has always made a grinding noise when I start the machine up. It is old and rusted. The bill machine.

Thanks everyone for all the help! I got it all working again but I actually am buying a newer machine and replacing this one. What do these types of machines sell for? I am gonna sell this one to make room for the newer one.

I've sold really clean, fully working S+ machines for $500.
