Recently came across some Helix MK8 CPU's that I'm looking use for a conversion. I have 6 Multimedia Games cabinets that are currently just wasted space since I have never been able to find the clear dongle for these machines. Awhile back I came across some of these same cabinets with Aristocrat software in them and it peaked my interest until I played them and seen how much they lagged. Dug a little deeper and found out the conversion on the MK7 Viridian causes that to happen and the game graphics and none lagging are actually much better on the Helix MK8 CPU.
Wondering if anyone here has ever made this conversion and could possibly give some instructions so I can finally put some use to these machines that are just in the back collecting dust. Any help would be appreciated. Please let me know if you need any more information.
