Title: 370 Boeing 777
Post by: 777sizzler on March 12, 2014, 05:06:38 PM
I have been looking for this plane the last 3-days via satt.  I am a plane nut and upset about this and upset about the possible and likely loss of life.  have been following this closely.  The 777 is one of the best, most reliable planes ever built.  Sure many know about this but it is a very good mystery.  Just wanted to vent this out.  What a mess.

Even if someone wanted one or more persons on that particular flight, disabling the black boxes and trackers would be a large undertaking...not something for the everyday "hi-jacker".

It's not quote as simple as hiding a mini-van or normal auto....this thing is HUGE!!! You're not gonna land it just anywhere!!

It just has to be underwater somewhere....deep water.....

IF it is underwater, it has a tracking beacon that responds immediately to salt water contact. No debrie field, so explosion/bomb is not likely. Decompression event, pilots would have more than enough time to put masks on and make a mayday call (panes do not "explode" under decompression). This IS a total mystery. Possibly they are just looking in the wrong area. If skyjacked and cockpit breached, the plane could be way off course and landed in a remote inland airstrip or crashed further out to sea.  Or................has the Bermuda Triangle moved due to global warming  :Scratch-Head: :Scratch-Head: Whatever the reason, you have to say prayers for those families and for their sake that the mystery will be answered sooner, rather than later.

I'm not an aviation expert and I won't even begin to speculate on what happened but my prayers are
with the families of everyone on board. I can't imagine what they're going through. I hope the people that
perished at least did so quickly.

At this time after 6 days and aprox. 8:30 pm my time Thur. March 13 Has me completly flabbergasted.  I Really think there has been human intervintion involved.  There is a chance this bird is still in one piece.  Biggest mystery on a national level etc. I have seen esp. in the aviation world.  They did not name it at boeing 777 for the hell of it.  The plane is virtually un-crashable.

I'm in agreement with you 7sizzler in that I also think it could be in one piece somewhere. Damn it's crazy that it just disappeared!

Not really related to this event, but when I visited the boeing factory in Washington it was one of the most amazing things I've ever seen.  I also learned there that the 787 is no longer fully manufactured by boeing, but major parts of it are outsourced and the whole pieces are assembled at the plant in washington, and then they wonder why the 787 is having all kinds of issues. if you make one of the greatest products in aviation, why would you want to outsource it and loose control of your QC?

This lost 777 gets more bizzare by the minute.  So many theories and speculation, I'm on the failed hijacking bandwagon until proof comes out otherwise.

Well, I am a engine guy.  The rolls-royce engines may be something they overlooked.  From what I gather they did purchase that package for maint. reasons.  The US and others have finally been given some axcess to data, Hence the tech. can be deployed and the smartest minds in the world can be utilized.   Just seen that a used 777 is worth 51.1 million dollars (older one) so who knows.  They can have the plane if that were the case but please spare the passengers.  Just a damn mystery that really sparks my interest and pisses me off at the same time- multiple countries, pacts, agreements etc.. We all will just keep tuning in and hoping for the best-it is possible but not likely.  Sorry to get away from slots but this one is gripping me by the balls here.

Replying to my last post-Sorry.  Anyone with any sense that has been following knows it is still quite the enigma.  45 to 23 in short time etc.-perhaps some Were tracking a unind. of heck --ufo.  I don't think so. I honestly feel this 777 still lives and I VERY much hope the passengers do as well.   Just wanted to re-post for 239 people on this aircraft --I would like to see -if possible a good ending for this.   Lots of tech. of stuff and it changes day to day.

March 19 now.  Still No plane or passengers. Quite a aggrevating thing to follow.  Goverments not wanting to help,Pass. Relatives .. They keep working on it something diff. and mostly bogus day to day.  When it is day there it is night here.  Too much info being withheld on this.  NO way a 777 is just gone and no one knows about it,  Someone knows somewhere-again just aggrevating.  Hi-jacked,crashed,ufo's got it, shot down, landed somewhere-what other options are there?.

It may have been found near Australia......

Yep Jimise,  3 days ago your post,  I was hopeful also.  NO plane, No debris.  They are going after debris that they do not even know what it is in those violent waters.   I think they are barking up the wrong tree.  In a earlier post I said  45-23 in a short time, That was in feet, Thousands.  That would have destroyed it and debris would be evident.  The only thing that is capable of that is--What joey suggested.  No one has found the first SHRED of that plane.

Find it distrubing how much junk/trash and oil spill after oil spill is floating in the Indian Ocean.
It's like looking for a car crash in a junkyard.

March 27, 2014.   No sign or debris of plane.  They think they are zeroing in.  Plane should not be where they say it is.  It could as this triple 7 is quite amazing.  Can fly on one engine/compensate by itself and glide for 1-2 hundred miles easily with electric/hyd. pwr. As from the first day of missing this is quite the mystery and a great challenge to find anything in that ocean.  This is going to and already has changed air-travel. A 777 does not just malfunction or crash without outside circumstances affecting it in my opinion.

Barry,
I think you're spot on as for "nothing New". They may be looking for this for months or even years. As one pundit has said, "It's not like looking for a needle in a hay stack....It's like looking for a needle in Nebraska.

I honestly believe that this plane is in a hanger someplace.  You cannot believe half the crap the media was speculating about.  After they lost radar contact there was no way to track that plane.
The BS about tracking a plane by satellite just by intermittent engine packet pings was bogus information.  It is imposable determine a fix location without triangulation on a constant signal. Short data bursts would not be long enough to triangulate a position. You would also need a minimum of Three receivers with directional antennas to narrow down the location.  Signal strength alone will not give you position.

The fact that transponders and other tracking systems were shut off one by one over time indicates that the people controlling it did not want it to be tracked.  Why the hell would they go through all that just to dump it in the ocean?  The fact that it was a late night / early morning flight makes in much easier to fly off course.  People manning the Air traffic control centers are not staring at there scopes looking for unidentified aircraft with no Identification transponder at that hour.  The plane could have easily flown over land to a large enough runway to land it, then hide it in a hanger.   Even if it had crashed into the ocean, there would have been a debris field, then some debris would have washed up onto shore by now.

Well,  It is still gone/missing.   When this is un-covered it will be interesting.  I, Myself would "just like to know"  as a quote from one of our user's handles here-- :Tongue_Out: .

This probably should be seperated but I don't think so.  Mala. has lost another.  Another triple 777 --this plane is accounted for -for the time being.  What a mess.  The scavengers taking items, ruining and taking evidence etc.  missle now.  Probably what happened to 370 also. Those Bastards.  This last flight had I think 298 souls on it -Blown out of the sky.  I do not care what race, religion, color etc. etc. I feel for the survivors and hope the ones responsible go straight to HELL.   I also have more feelings for the 298.   Sorry about the vent -- :waving_flag: .
