Title: CRAIGSLIST- SPAM LISTINGS??
Post by: GOS on November 02, 2015, 06:26:42 AM
What is going on - Craigslist is full of business listings making it difficult to scroll thru.  Are these SPAM or has CL decided to MAKE MONEY?

Looks like CL is not worth the trouble anymore - there are 2 Smartphone APS "FREE" and easy to use one is CLOSE5 the other is LETGO.  have used the close5 and have had some contacts - easy to use - and no spam or ads to cloud the issue.   I did send a message to CL and no response.

Forget about the LETGO APP  they do not accept SLOT MACHINE ads!!!!!

I don't know what you are specifically refering to without a link, but a lot of business's anymore post one ad, link it to multiple categories and put in lots of words in the subject line so their cheap advertising shows up everywhere on searches. In the Phoenix CL, some pool table company ad comes up about 20 times when I search slot machines. They flood the free service because they can and I specifically avoid shopping with the ones that do that, though I do use their advertising for ideas and then buy from someone else, lol

no links to "slot machine" within the ad hence my question They seem to be getting worse.

 :I_agree_1:
Plus you will find the same ad run many times! In the past you could not post more than once..

Where does CL actually sell anything to make site support money? They've been around a long time

If you're a car dealer they charge for car ad's, they make a pretty nice bit off of that.
