Title: Stuck door optics on S-plus machine that WAS progressive

Where do I start.. round top s-plus machine...dead everything...
Removed nickels from the power supply cage... no more shorts & blowing fuses!
New reels & motors as ALL 3 were bad on this slot..
working board as this one was missing...
new coin stuff with comparator.....
 FINALLY got it up with 61 error...ok hold down test button...boom...61-1..
now when I close the door it sees it as NOT closing...normally I would run tests..but cant since its stuck...any suggestions?

Sounds like the door optics may be the culprit. Check the wiring to be sure they are plugged in, check the alignment, and maybe the cell phone camera thing to see of there's life. May be something simple and you won't have to replace?

The cash can door switch must also be closed to get a machine "door closure".  Can just jumper the wires to the cash door switch.
