Picked this one up off Craigslist. It work really well. I don't have a key for the back so I guess I'll drill it out and put in a new one. redo the paint and change out the glass. Not sure what the insides look like as of yet hopefully there OK. Paid $145 for it. It's going on the book shelf as a keeper. Does anyone have a parts list/Manual?

Nice find! I love those reels. Quite a nice period piece!

Don't drill out the lock yet!!
Get a simple lock pick set and learn how to pick on Youtube. I had an original Jennings lock on my 5 cent slot machine, spend one hour learning how to pick. The first lock I opened was that Jennings. It took about 1.5 minutes.

Great score! Haven't found a deal like that in a long time. That's one of the trade stimulators I'd like to have.

Hope he didn't drill the lock out.

I drilled the lock out on a Mills Vest Pocket, only to find that a replacement lock would cost more than I paid for the machine. :duh:

Well he's not responding... OP??
I'm not exactly sure what type of locks are on this Groetchen but I know the Mills VP original locks can be well over $100. There's one on eBay at $250 or best offer. Yikes!

I haven't drilled it yet. It's on hold (everything) going to have eye surgery, can see the project or my office computer.
Pictures will have to do. This doesn't look like an original lock.?
Does anyone have a manual for this type of machine?
