How RARE is this .50 cent Mills Slot Machine?

UPDATE: This guy is open to my offer of $1500 for this machine. It's a 3 hour drive. Can anyone tell me just how rare this is? If I hung onto is for a few years, restored it a bit...is it one of those machine that will be worth $5000 before we know it?  I heard only 1 in 100 are .25 cent versions. How rare are the .50?? If I'm only going to make $1000 buying and selling it, I'll probably pass. If it will turn out to be the most valuable slot in my collection. I don't want to pass it up.

If I got it for $1500 would I be smart?  Could I resell it for $2500+ easy on eBay? since it's a .50 cent version...

 If you could get it for $1500 that would be great (would be a keeper).  I think there are a few others watching that one if it's the one coming up for auction at 9Mile Liquidation Service in Spokane.

no, it's on Craigslist as in, it's in my town. I asked if he would take $1500, I can't afford $2500. But he may say "Heck no!" I'll update this thread when he answers.

 Ok, I didn't know it was listed on Craigslist also.  I saw it listed for auction at https://hibid.com/lot/132179752/mills-vintage-slot-machine-with-base?ref=catalog

 It has 3 days left and an $800 starting price.

 WOW!! I'll be an SOB. I just went back, and they raised the starting price to $1200.00!

look at the serial number.  some machines/versions had >400,000 units produced.  from what i was told by the SME on these older machines, they all started sequentially from 1.
