Title: Newbie here need some help.

I have a mk6 board in my 540mvp. The game was white water and I want to change it to snap shot. I got the new eprom and I purchased the set clear chips from jjslots. I set the game up as multi line 20 lines 50 per line and used the same jurisdiction (Oregon) and variation (1) as before but I keep getting  a jurisdiction crc error when I boot it up. Can anyone give me some pointers.

Also after attempting to set it up on the game screen it says memory error flt game game machine options , flt  jurisdiction machine options, flt crc eprom mismatched.

I still get the same problem . I'm using m27v160 system chips and the game chips are v322 . do I need to be using the same ?

M27V160 is the Eprom type, do you know what version Set Chip you are using

When using the Set Chip you will select the Game Type as "Reel Power" the next page will show you what Target Version of Set Chip is selected, it needs to be 06.01.xx or higher, anything lower will cause issues like you are seeing

Some sets of Set Chip have a couple of versions nested so you can toggle through the menu to select a different version of Target

I'm using set chips from jjslots. They are 6.00.xx, 6.01.xx , 6.20.xx I belive. There is also a few choices for reel power and I'm not sure what one I need to choose. Its also doing some weird things when I set it up . not sure if its suppose to look like this

Until you have the correct configuration, you will continue to see weird settings/errors

Select your 06.01.xx Version, set as Reel Power(25) you max bet configuration would be either 8 or 20 max credit

I got it figured out. It needed to be multi line not reel power..

I would be interested to know the game version number, as the paper work I have for Snap Shot shows it as a Reel Power Game

The game shows it as reel power on the screen. But I had to choose multi line. I think the chips said it was version 1

I had a lot of the same setup problems until I got a set/clear chip set version 6.03.10.  Everything worked well after upgrading from version 6.02.20.
