Title: How to Identify Version
Post by: Zud on September 22, 2017, 09:00:55 AM
I am new to this site and have a question.

How do I know which version of Fortune I have?

I bought several units years ago in a warehouse raid. I am getting ready to clean-out my space and these are the next items to ether stay or trade for other items.

I know I had (2) back to back units that I completely parted out. I also have (2) stand alone units.

Are the back to back units worth anything to anyone? I mean I have the cabinet parts, board sets, etc.

I am normally on KLOV (Arcade forum).

One of the easiest was to identify a machine is to post a few photos of it here. Usually the machine can be quickly identified this way. Include in the photos a view showing the entire front of the machine. If the machine will power on that helps with lighting. Also it is good to have plenty of light in the room so the machine can be clearly seen. Then open the main door and take a photo of the inside. If there is an idplate on the side of the machine post a photo of it.

There is often some interest in parts for older machines, a lot of hobbyists have these machines. So post a photo of anything you want to and someone will reply if they are interested.

Attaching photos is easy, when you are writing a new message post look just below the message block and you will see the phrase "Attachments and other options" written in green. Click on it and you will see "Attach" and "Choose file". Click on "Choose file" and a popup window will appear that lets you select the photo file you want to attach. After you have selected the photo file you finish your message post and Save it like normal.
