So I took the plunge and purchased a Konami Advantage 5 machine. I also bought 4 additional game kits so I can switch titles. Now I need advice on how to switch games. I figured out how to remove reels and I think I can put new strips on without problem. I know I have to switch cf game card and I think I have to switch out Eproms (never done this before - any general advice other than be careful?). I need to put ram clear in bottom cf card slot. Then do I power on and follow Ram clear video advice from 2nd link down on this Konami forum list? Am I missing any steps?

They are nice machines.

You got the general idea of how to switch to a different game.
Just be sure the eproms face the same way as the ones you are taking out.Look for the little notch at the top.
If these are all Advantage 5 software then the only eproms you need to change NORMALLY are roms 6 and 7.
You are correct,to clear the board the clear cf goes in the bottom.Leave the game cf in the top while going this.

By the way...what games did you get?I have some I may want to trade with you.

Do you need just the software or need the reel strips also?

Sometimes eBay (though not lately)... posting a want to buy topic in the classifieds here works sometimes.
