I'm entertaining the idea of picking up an SAVP machine (stepper), but I'm a complete newbie with them. Are the cabinets with the LED light strips in front hard to come by in the home market? About how much more does that version add to the price? Anything else I need to know about the various cabinet styles? Also, how hard are game kit swaps?

Not sure what you are referring to as far as led in front?-gen-2?. As far as game changes it's like riding a bike once you get used to them. You will need to get yourself a E-key 7 and a diagnostic 14-09 . You will use the e-key more than anything. Great games and a lot to offer on that plat form out there.

That is a S-avp Gen-2 Cab. with edge lit buttons and the whole shee-bang as far as parts and gut's goes. Those cost a good bit--If you can find any. And at that point-don't buy one of those "un-shopped, As-is" or you will get the donkey!.
