Title: SafeRam Clear 88ff error
Post by: loudness on November 28, 2017, 08:19:52 AM
I have a bally machine and It was off for a month. turned it on and gave me error 88ff. Looks like could be battery or just need a clear.

I am not sure if I need the clear chips or use the DIP switch.

Here are some pics.

What would be the best way to get it back to working?

Also where is the battery on the mpu board.

It looks like you will need  clear chips . I would replace battery and then clear ,  you will also need to set the 11d menu settings for your machines options. It also looks like your progressive  will need to be programmed  too. The progressive  has a rechargeable  battery  and needs to be on periodically  to charge to hold the progressive  memory. Scott
