Post by: IGT on June 08, 2014, 07:32:30 PM
I put together the following document for backing up and restoring IGT software.  If this is not appropriate to post, then please, by all means, remove as you see fit.  If not, I would welcome any corrections.  Thanks

How to backup Fortune 1 software.

Find an old Data I/O programmer.

Read the tri voltage 2716 into the data pro.

Program a single voltage 2716 with the data.

Save the single voltage data onto the computer with a more modern EPROM reader / programmer.

Reverse would be program a single voltage EPROM with the saved bin.

Read it into the Data I/O programmer.

Program a tri voltage EPROM with the data.

Getting those tri voltage EPROMs onto a computer are difficult because most burners that connect to a computer don't read tri voltage EPROMs.
