Yes, I am posting this right... Everyone thinks I'm not correct...But I have a reel touch "Bucks Ahoy Bonus King" machine. It is RARE, so i decided (obviously the wrong choice) to copy the hard drive to make a backup image. well, windows wrote a few hidden files on the original HD and now I have a dead dame. is there a way to remove the "Extra Files" error i get when loding the game now? or a program that will let me go in and remove these files without adding more to the mix when i hook it up to a pc again?
Thanks,
Bryan

Not familiar with bonus king.
A picture maybe?
Is it a bios 1 or 2? I'm assuming bios 1.

You may be able to bring it back to life.
Super important you must use a clone software that boots from DOS when cloning bios 1 Hard Drives. I have been told booting in safe mode and using caspr software within windows will work but I have no direct experience with this.
If your going to try and look at this drive on a windows based computer boot into safe mode first.
Your drive may be salvageable but it is not usually an easy task. I would stop trying to use windows based computer to look at it any more for now.

Who is EVERYONE? I looked back thru your postings on NLG, going back to 2014, didn't see any reference to the Buck's Ahoy game. Was it people outside of NLG? All it would take is a photo of the machine to show any doubters what the machine looks like and that it is what you say it is, right?
-
I asked other Vendors and People in the business about this game, That's why I'm reaching out here on NLG.

We can't help you until we get some information on your machine.
Hopefully you did this while it was operational.

Also what SB, SG, and VS chips are in your machine?
As asked before a picture of the front of the machine would also help since most of us have never seen a "bonus bucks" machine before.
When the machine top box booted did it show a red white and blue finger splash screen (bios 1) or a green and yellow energy star (bios 2).
All this information is needed if you want some help.
The RFA, ATA and BGM numbers from the HD will really help if you have them. I would not go back into the HD now to try and find out. What is still left in that drive may be your only hope so I would be careful with it.

I also Have a MACBook Pro I could use if there is a way to do it from a MAC.
I am heading home soon, I will post a picture of the machine when I get home. Basically it's a Bucks Ahoy machine...EXCEPT that the top glass is different and the Bonus King randomly shows up at the end of spins with 6 additional bonuses added on to the original Game.
I just did a Google Search..I believe this may have been a prototype machine. So you can see why I really need some knowledge here, and I Need to get this working again. If I got this drive working again it would work in ANY bucks ahoy machine to make it a Bonus King Bucks Ahoy.
-
SB, SG, VS are probably also different than a regular bucks.
From your memory bios 1 or bios 2?
-
Don't use a MAC, it will write more files to the drive and make it even worse
-
A few pics
-
Another one of the top glass
-
That is really cool and as you stated very rare.
Are the SB chips the same as the standard bucks.
Was the extra bonus all contained in the top box software?
-
1 SB SG000478 eeprom, 4 Game Eeproms game 1-4 SG000478 on a Enhanced S2000 MPU. Bios Version 1 on the topbox.

Topic solved reconstructed hard drive.
