Title: Cap Kit for Sigma HR-IM monitor | Needed
Post by: Green5 on October 04, 2020, 06:39:19 AM
The monitor in my SIGMA HR-IM Jokers Wild machine, when the video harness is plugged into it, the 12 volt power supply clicks and will not fully turn on.
When the video harness is unplugged, the game boots up, makes sounds, spins the coin hopper and lights up.  Just no picture, because the harness is unplugged.

I believe this means I need to re-cap the monitor.

I found a post with a list of caps for what I believe is my monitor as the Mitsubishi tag matches, but I could not find a TOEI tag on my monitor to know for 100% sure.

Any help would be ideal.  Anyone selling a full cap kit, please let me know!

Is Aubry from Zanen Electronics still around ???

Google "Zanen Electronics" in Texas. See what you come up with?  Aubry had (and knew) everything there was to know about CRT monitors.

Hope this helps!

Gave them a call at (806) 829-2780.  They are putting a kit of caps together for me.

Thank you very much for the direction to them.

I didn't have the chassis # available so they are putting together a general kit.  They charged me $15
