Title: WBA-12-SS takes bills in about 1/4" and holds them

I have an IGT S2000 machine with a WBS-12-SS bill validator unit.  After power on, the unit cycles and then the green lights on the bezel light up.   When I try to put a bill in, the unit takes it in about 1/4" and then it holds the bill there.  I have tried the test sequence at the top of this forum and it behaves the same way.  Does this mean the head is bad and needs replacement? Thanks for reading.

I believe it is the head that is the problem. Jim/Midwest slots has heads
