Title: 16MHz problem with a 10MHz schematic
Post by: MarkInAz on June 29, 2023, 10:09:30 AM
Im having an issue with my  S+ Barcreast Run for the Money machine.  Its a 16Mhz machine but I only have the 10 MHz schematic.  It was working fine last year, I moved across the country and now I get a code 12. I pulled out the old battery, it was still 2.8VDC. I installed a new one, its reading 3.7VDC but still get a code 12 when fired up.
I need to look at the battery measuring part of this 16MHz boards which is different from the 10MHz board.
Cheers,
Mark

From what little I know, after a battery change it should switch to a 61 error code?

Rather than going after the MPU it sounds like a clear/set might me the best option to me?

Update on mine- All is fine now. Disconnected the battery overnight, reconnected it the next day and all is good.  How goofy.
I'd still like to get the data I asked for if anyone can help.
