I have a couple of the Old Mills.
One is a Blue Castle Front. Behind the Drill Proof Sides is a Original Mills Factory Sticker. Dated 12-26-35.
My other one is a Black Cherry, Ser.# 485535. About 1945. They started with Ser.# 480,000 six weeks after W.W.II was over.

I use Enamel Paint and brush it on with a good brush. Be patience, those are Great Machines.
The make Reproductions of the War Eagle, Golden Nugget and maybe a couple more. Either way they are Nice and work.
Those will be around for another 75 years.
Good Luck
