I finished this a while back but am just now getting around to posting pics. I have 2 Bally v32's and was building a stand for them when I stumbled onto the PERFECT one at a Goodwill. I think it was the base section of an entertainment center or something. I'm not 100% sure. The sides of it extended about 6" lower than what you see now but I cut them off so it sits flush on the floor for the perfect height. The top is black granite. It was marked $50 but on the day I happened to find it all furniture was 30% off. Score!!
I would love to give away the project stand I was working on. I think all that's left to do would be to cut the top to fit (I'll even give you the nearly to-size piece I had ready and then either paint or laminate. You might also want to cut a wedge or two out of 2x4 or 2x6 to brace the foot rest in the middle. I was going to attach some anti-slip matt material to the food rest.
