Sigma 150B quit taking coins

When my Sigma 150B quit taking coins, I found help on this forum.  I replaced the comparitor several years ago and the machine has worked up until a week ago.  Seeing the samy symptoms, I ordered, rec'd and installed the replacement.  No go.  I have adjusted the comparitor pot throughout it's entire rotation, a few degrees at a time with zero change.  In the coins played window, a -3 is displayed.  Prior to that, I got a coin in no pulse, prior to that, a meter wire cut indication.  Very random.  The machine is clean inside, no previous issues, new RAM battery.  I have reseated all connectors.  Do not know where to go at this point.
