Title: Monte Wheel problem

Have a Bally 6000 Monte wheel, code 88.  reading other posts, could be a bad battery. If it is the battery, when you clear the machine will it affect the operation of the wheel portion?  anything special to do?  the prog. display is set to 1000.00 all the time.


Have never worked on one of these before.

88 = Catastrophic Failure

Loved reading that the first time in my handbook  :Tongue_Out: .  Likely the battery is dead as you suspect.  After you clear just follow the attached cheat sheet I made up.  Assuming the machine was already running you can skip to "Step 6".
