Title: s2000 Sound with Enhanced MPU

I'm getting closer to getting our 'new' Double Triple Butterfly Sevens 5-reel up and running (with the great help from members here!).  I went through the sound menu and get no sound.  It has an enhanced MPU, but there is no sound SIMM installed on the legacy board. 

Is the SIMM required, or just for adding additional sounds?

Simm is not required.  You will only get legacy sounds.  I don't believe any of the Double/Triple games have enhanced sounds anyway.  You should be getting the generic IGT spin sounds.

When going through the #3 sound options menu, should any sounds be heard?  I'm waiting for a replacement reel to solve a reel tilt issue, and haven't had the game fully functional.  (first slot; noob)

On your reel tilt issue what sg game chips do you have? I ran into reel tilt problems and had to use 597s on the 5 reel machines. That took care of the reel tilts.

It has the SG000598 chips.  The reel has a broken tab/leg.
