The short answer is that none of them are designed for this.
I have however done this with mine using the LED5 12 Cell meter. This requires a CON1 to drive it. I suspect you can use a meter from a ChamII+ if you are not interested in a linked progressive. They are similar size.
The reason I did this with mine is that I have 3 slots. Two 9" and One 16". I have collected aproximately 60 glass kits with both the 9' and 16' top glass for each so I can use on any of my systems. If I had to buy the special glass with the cut out that has the meter attached to the back it would be very difficult to collect as there were limited themes with this and as the meters were more or less permanently attached - so this could get very expensive.
1. I used the standard player tracking plate that came with my slot. It already had many holes. I used a dremil tool to cut it to size. I re-painted it black as the one I had was pretty marred by my dremil job. I then took a piece of plexy glass, I tinted it with automotive tinting. You can pick up rolls of this from any autoparts place. PEP Boys, Napa, etc. I glued this to the front of the player tracking bar.
2. When I went to place the meter in the slot I found that the electronics on the bottom of the meter would NOT fit nicely as the player tracking bar sits against the reel shelf and there was no place for the electronics to hang.
3. I subsequently cut (hacked) a strip out of the reel shelf so the electronics had a place to hang. I used a bit of non-static foam wrap over the bottom of the meter to ensure it won't short on the metal reel cage.

Another option if you don't want to hack up your machine as badly is to put the progressive in a slot topper.

Andy35
The display you have is a IGT Spectrum
You need the driver board and power supply
Also needed is the Top box to progressive harness (Same as the one used for the small LED display driver to machine connection)
The display and driver are connected via 40 or 50 pin ribbon cable

To do what you want Andy35 you need a Cham II+ or standalone
easily made harness, helps to have a electronics parts store near you for the correct connectors RadioShack will not do.
An older computer with Windows XP or a computer with Windows 7 or 8 32 bit version installed.
If 64 bit use one of the methods to run 16 bit DOS program
Mikohn PSP 2 or 3
Either a slightly modified RS232 cable or pins 1 and 5 jumpered on the Cham II+ RS232 port.

Ok Foster .

What do you suggest for me. Wanna add to my Igt S+ something like this progressive led display. I am rookie and looking for easy solution for my blank covered area.

Thanks.

Adding a progressive to a S+ whether you use a Mikohn Cham II+ or buy the rest of the Spectrum parts if any one has them.

You are going to have to learn about how to navigate the S+ Menu's when the set chip is in place.

Program Summery Report (PSR) is going be needed for your your particular game (SP) chip and set chip

The Spectrum is not as fancy as the Cham II+, Spectrum can only show the progressive amount and nothing more.
The Spectrum settings are totally controlled by the S+. you set 4 amounts known as the progressive start or base amount, max amount, current amount, and a increment percentage

The Cham II+  or stamd alone is a actually a stand lone progressive controller and driver for its matching display.
Like the one you show mounted in the player tracking plate.
It will allow you to have a progressive and messages show on the display, The reason you need a computer etc as l listed in my prior post
It will give you more flexibility but you have to have a bit of patience gettiing things up and running.
The S+ would be configured for link progressive.

I, Jay and others have done S+ to Cham II+ setups and some are outlined in the NLG Archives (http://newlifegames.net/)
