Hey guys,
What OS are you guys using to successfully load LOTR? I'm trying to load it with 13.37, but it bombs out with a "Call Attendant". I've tried restarting the machine, as I've heard that a reboot sometimes takes care of this type of problem.
Any thoughts?
Thanks,
Jason

Here's the blue screen error when I turn the jackpot key.

Try using SSSG-000-1696

Is that 16CJ?

Got it running with 16CJ, but for some reason when powering it up, I have to open and close the door once in order for it to fully boot up. Not sure what that is all about. Works perfectly after that.
Thanks,

No, 1696 is not 16CJ. Some of the older games like LOTR are not fully compatible with the newer OS like 16G2. Just because the os is newer doesn't mean it's gonna work properly with the older games.

As indicated in the post from idesign, some games do not play nice with different os versions, 1696 (H13.34) and 16A2 (H13.35) are my go to versions when I have issues.

Thanks Bryan. So I played around with both of these operating systems, and they do work fine, but ultimately, they seem to produce the same results as 16CJ. For some reason, when I power my machine off and power it back on, I get a "Call Attendant" message. If I open and close the door, all is well. Not a big deal since it works fine. 13.37 does NOT play nicely with this game.

I'm reviving this thread, because I found out what the problem was. Changing out my Ithaca 850 ticket printer to a Futurelogic Gen 2 resolved all of the issues. Now it works flawlessly. No more error messages.

Running 16CJ OS works perfectly with the Gen 2 printer.
