Title: JCM BILL BOXES - MAINTENANCE?
Post by: GOS on April 21, 2017, 04:16:20 AM
seem to have problems with the bill boxes - some just will not work - visually they seem fine - no broken gears - is there any maintenance that can be performed or just toss them?

you can remove the entire guts of the box by removing two screws. you can now inspect the stacking operation, usually some sort of wheel and rope device that extends and retracts the  stacker.   I have many of those if you need any.

Many times the problem is loose locator pins on the sides of the can.

i assume you mean the pins on the sides of the box - makes sense - will check them out - and what Jim mentioned as well - i have a large stack of these boxes - time to fix or dump.  thank you .
