Greetings to everyone. First I wanted to thank all of the contributors on this and other boards. I started collecting S+ machines early this year and have learned a great deal in the workings and repair through your posts and for that I thank you.
Today I found my first S2000 machine a Leopard Claw. Was told it didn't work and picked it up for $300. I got it home and it booted right up without any issue what so ever and I played it all morning.
My question is this: I opened it up to start cleaning it up and found there are a TON more boards than I was expecting. I figured it would have the MPU with the sound board etc, but there are boards everywhere and I do not even know where to start on what all this stuff is. I looked around for some info on this and was able to get an idea on a few of these things but would really like to know if there is a guide that may be able to get me the complete picture.

There are some S2000 manuals and documentation in the NLG download library, you can get access to the downloads with a donation to the NLG website. There are also a lot of manuals including some for S2000 available at this site:
