Title: IGT 701 Video Poker

Working on an old IGT model 701 video poker machine. Had been working fine for about a year then error "hopper time out" came up. Hopper agitator was shot so I replaced it, also repaired broken switch connector. Still has error. Any ideas?

Hey Newbie...  :NLG_WELCOME: Have you tried to use the reset key or switches inside to see if the error clears? Located on the right side of the cabinet..

Yes, have tried the re-set switches, still getting error

When the error comes up does the hopper run before hand? Or does the error come up right away?

are you sure the hoppers plug was wired correctly?

Hopper timeout is usually the hopper switch.
Are you getting any red lights lit on the I/O board?
