Just hit my first hand pay. However the win meter did not say how much I won. I had to use a calculator to figure out what my winnings were. BTW it was 1,440. Is this normal for a 731 chip? If it is not, how do I change the settings to show it?

Press the white TEST button inside the machine repeatedly until you get to menu step 13. Make sure step 13 is set to "1" for enabling the handpay jackpot display. Save your changes and exit.

I must be doing something wrong because when I get to that step all it shows is the payout chip number 6205 and the game Chip 731. If I pull the handle or Force the Spin button it just Spins the reels to the jackpot symbol and gives me the first coin and third coin payout.

Dang - my memory may be fading. Try pressing the white TEST switch once or so until you get to menu step/page 0, then turn the jackpot reset key until you get to substep 13. Anyway, I think the setting you want to change is at menu step/page 0, substep 13.
