hi to all and I am new to the site and a novice with slot machines.
my question is
I just purchased a wms bb1 in working condition,i wanted to change the software to a different game like I have done on my other bb1 game many times with ram clear card then load new software
the new machine has a metal door cover that closes over the software my other machine it is removed completely,so I managed to open it up
remove the 2 software cards and reload game.i get to the program screen set all device set up,credit set up,time set up like ive done on other
machine several times.
but the game will not come on it just says call attendant.and the game software is good as it worked on other machine.
only thin I can think of is it is something to do with that metal door cover,cause it was difficult to open and now it closes easy?
please help and thank you

I would imagine it has to do with the door on your cpu.
If you look at your cpu with the door off, there is a switch on the bottom in the middle of the case.
When the door closes properly, it will move the switch lever to the right which would tell the game that the door is closed. yours must be bypassed on your other game.

I guess it was that the whole metal box that has the computer board and the software just needed to be pushed down to make contact.
I must have moved that mechanical sprng lever switch underneath the box and that caused it to pop up just a little bit and lost connection.
working fine now
