Title: WTB Information Typically Found in Par Sheets
Post by: jek187 on October 29, 2018, 01:23:03 AM
First off, apologies if I've placed this topic in the wrong place. I browsed all the sub-forums on this site, and to me, this seemed like the best spot. If I'm wrong, please be gentle.

I'm a hobbyist advantage player, and have lately had to spend a lot of time idle in casinos for various promotions. I have started working on various progressive slots, to figure out how high the jackpots have to be to become +EV. However, the time and cost associated with reverse engineering each game is adding up, plus I know my numbers are never exactly right (and my god, the OCD fits that gives me...). So, I'm hoping someone here has access to a number of par sheets from various progressive slot machines, and would either be willing to sell me copies of them, or sell me a few key numbers (jackpot cycle information is clearly #1, but seed values, meter rates, and payback % settings would also be very nice).

I realize that there's a reason these things aren't in the public domain, and you may be hesitant to part with this information to a new poster on this site. I totally get that, but I can do a few things to assuage potential doubts. For starters, I'd sign an NDA if you'd like. Also, I very much value my reputation in the gaming industry as an extremely honest individual, and I certainly wouldn't want this to negatively impact my rep. I have a minor claim to fame for those acquainted with the world of online poker in the 2003-2007 range as the founder of BonusWhores.com. Also, if you happen to be an AP and you're worried about me encroaching on your territory, please don't. I live in South Dakota, and have no plans to move to Vegas or any other slot Mecca.

I'll be watching this thread for any questions, and of course, my PMs/email as well. Thanks a lot!

As someone who can't quite call himself an APer, I do consider myself to be more knowledgeable about slots than the average casino patron.  I applaud your attempt here to research this stuff.  Unfortunately, PAR sheets for the newer stuff you're looking for is hard to find for us average, non-professional slot tech folks.  I wish you luck in your endeavor, but as you know it's nearly impossible to get your hands on the info you're looking for unless you work in the industry.

Ain't that the truth! ;)

I'm pretty much hoping for someone who does work in the industry to come along and help me (and themselves) out. For my list, we're definitely talking a 4-figure payment or even some sort of profit-sharing deal. Happy to pay a referral too if someone here knows someone who'll be helpful.
