Title: Upright stand

Hello,


Is there a good place I could go to get slot stand for my IGT S2000 Upright?  Or a cheap stand that works for these?

You definitely need something better than that.  It looks pretty dangerous!  Lots of people make their own, check out the slot stands and bases forum for some ideas.  Keep kids away from your machine until you find something more stable to put it on.

Thanks will do. Years ago I got the plans for making one but don’t have a table saw yet. Wish I could find a used one or something that holds 300+ pounds.

The base forum is a great place for ideas.

If you want something better than what you have and quick, a sturdy end table or bigger night stand would work. Thrift stores are good for those items. 

2x4's and a hand saw at minimum would be ok, maybe an old wood palette repurposed.

They way you have it set on that table...if anyone pulls on the handle and it's not disengaged, they'll get crushed.That's like putting refrigerator on top of a pizza box stand.
Better not let any kids around that!
Get that off of there please!!

Please be happy to know that it is now on a very stable small table while I make a custom stand.  It sits lower just for now.
