Title: WMS BB2 Crsystal Forest behavior

Why does this  BB2 with "Crystal Forest" play whatever the last bet was on the deck...by itself?
If I throw in a bill, it starts a game without me touching any buttons.
Also, the big button on the right doesn't work at all and the LEDs on the edges of it are green.
The rest of the smaller buttons all all blue or yellow where the bet is.
Of course, the Service button is edge-lit with red LEDs when in the "ON" position.

Does the Jurisdictional  chip control this behavior?
I'm using a Maryland [114] chip.
I couldn't find any particular setting to able or disable. other than to possibly change the button deck display if you want to change the max bet per line, etc etc....there's nothing in there to stop the machine from playing automatically whenever you insert a bill?

PS. I DO have a Mississippi [115] Juris chip...will swap, Clear, and re-install and see if anything changes.

What machine type is this?  Sounds like you have issues with the button panel wiring.  If you disconnect the button panel, and insert a bill, does the same thing happen?

This darn thing is a WMS BB2e 256MB Crystal Forest De-37-000-1010 running with the 512MB OS H13.37.

For some reason , as you hear my exasperation in the video tape, doesn't do it now.
I pushed the play button to play some credits.

Maybe it's because I swapped from a [114] to a [115] Jurisdiction chip?


However the Repeat button (large one on the right) still doesn't work at all and the surrounding LEDs are green lit.

There are zero options to enable it.

Gunna try your suggestion back with the [MD114] and no deck.

Will also try with a known good deck....maybe it's the EsterLine board underneath with the problem?

okay....game won't load due to no OLED deck
So I had to configure it to "Not Set".
When I put a bill....nothing happens....gunna try known good OLED deck now

                                 ****UPDATE****
Installed known working deck....Repeat button works perfectly.

Problem is probably the EsterLine board on other one.
Even swapped repeat buttons form one deck to another...same problem remains.
