Needing some assistance - I was programming the progressives on my Bally Alpha S9000 and when I hit the save button, the machine froze up.  I had no choice but to shut it down and restart.  Now when I boot the system it locks at either verifying BIOS or sometimes will get to loading Kernel and just hang indefinitely.

I am runnimg AVBBP26SIMPU-05

If this is the culprit can I replace it with AVBBP26SIMPU-07 ?

You need to clear it and start over.

It won't go past the bios check to load the clear card

Which OS and clear card are you using with that bios?

335 clear card with 336-05 OS

I was able to get the clear card to run successfully, but it goes right back to Verifying BIOS ROM and just hangs

Have you replaced all the batteries lately?

Yes all batteries were replaced before the initial clear.  The clear worked the first time and booted so I could setup machine.  Froze during progressive save and now I'm stuck at verifying BIOS ROM on initial boot
