Pull out the MPU board and if there are 4 EPROMS it is a Bally S6000 slot, 6 means it is a S5500 slot.

 Personally, I have never been a big fan of the slant top machines for home use.  They are bulky and HEAVY.  I have owned 4 of them.  One I sold (complete) and I still have 3 taking up space in my garage that will soon be parted out as they are worth more in parts.  Also, they sometimes won't fit into a room without removing the door which I had to do with the first one I had ever purchased.

 Two of the three machines mentioned above have minimal investment.  One was $8.00 and the other was traded for an ammo can.

 I'm sure you will let us know if you bring the beast home.  :cool_thumb_up:
