Title: s2000 Bill stopped working

Mei and card for it tested good in other machine. Blinking green and yellow. It is enabled, Have auto configured it. Machine does have ticket and tito working. Reseated plugs in backplane. What else???

Call a slot repairman.  :rotfl: jk

Try cleaning the cashbox stacker prism.
Remove stacker spring and plate from cashbox.
Remove the two screws inside that secures the stacker mechanism to the cashbox.
Slide out the stacker mech.
Push down the axle to push out the stacker optics.
Clean the prism optics.
Re-assemble stacker mech.and test BV unit.

Are the Green and Yellow lights blinking single, double or triple?  Look at the MEI diagnostic codes.

Also try cleaning/re-seating the interface card just above the cashbox.

Sorry for slow response back had some other troubles. And thanks for all the replies. But yes I have already verified mei good, interface card good, bill box good.  Mei slow blinks green &yellow at same time

If you will refer to the diagnostic codes, it says cash box not seated. I would focus on that.

Did you try the same Cashflow bill box in the other cabinet?
Or was it a different billbox?

If not, clean the optics...it's the clear plastics.
There's a prism inside attached to the bill stacker...if it's dirty, the machine shoots out that error.

Tried bill box in another cabinet(thats why I said it was good) AND another tested good bill box in this one with same results. And I do know all about  the prism in the boxes. So thats why I was originally asking what I was missing other than bill box, mei and interface card. It will be another week before I am back on it. Will probably be focusing on wiring next or just punting! Thanks again for replies.

The fact you are getting a yellow light you should focus on the Acceptor and the cash box. Open the Acceptor (head) and examine the bill path for jams and foreign material. Clean the bill path and sensor areas. Check the cash box interface.
