Title: Alpha Amps - Long Tray vs Short Tray
Post by: CVslots on November 20, 2014, 03:18:44 PM
Ok, so I should probably know this answer, but I don't! I am finding Alpha amps that are same board, but mounted on either a long tray, or a short tray! Help me solve this mystery!  :rotfl: I'm guessing that different cabinet configs required the different trays, but which one for which tray?

The long trays are for Alpha Elite Reel Cabinets.  My alpha V20/20 uses the short tray.  I believe any video cabinet will use the short tray unless it was converted from Reel.  The actual amp board is the same, so if there's a bad amp, and you have the tray (which you should), you can just swap out the amp board.
