For you 5 reel gurus out there... Are there any 5 reel themes that have free spin bonus or a nudge or haywire type spin.... Just curious, I have the triple red hot 777s, but looking for something better...
Thanks
Tom

Three that I know are:
Double Diamond Free Spins (still have this one in my game room)
Double Diamond Run (had this kit and sold it)
Cleopatra (still have this one in my game room)
Cleopatra to me is the best of the three though

Most 5-reel games have 9 lines and nudging just wouldn't be practical. Never seen a respin either in a IGT game. Free spin bonuses is the norm.
Besides the above games there also one called Leopord Spots that has free spin bonus.
-
Cleopatra is the best in my opinion also, but it's the sound simm that makes the game on that one

Agreed! We should be seeing a WTB Cleo shortly!
Wish I had one for ya, I sold it. You won't be disappointed with that game, Slotmechanic! Gotta have the SIMM though!!

It's a clone of Cleo

Hmm.. Does it have a dedicated SIMM like Cleo? Would be cool if so.
-
It does. But I like the Cleo simm with this one better
-
Leopard Claw DSV00116 I even have one, it's a 8 MEG simm and Cleo DSV00043 is a 16 MEG simm
-
Neon, Buzz, - I have never heard that SIMM.. If it's anything like Cleo, it should be pretty cool. Off to YouTube I go..

Well I tried to post a MP4 video from my phone but the site will not allow for that file extension.
The funny thing is of the allowed file extensions the site permits is .bin
But were not to upload those files to the site. :nlg-logo: :Scratch-Head:

The Wife doesn't need to know your slot kit purchases.. I have boxes getting in the way of the door to the house daily, I just say I traded stuff for them, or 'Freebie' from generous members.. (Ha, neither really work, but worth a shot?) JK
SIMM stands for:
Sound
In
My
Machine
I think? No.., but that is a good question. The Guru's will answer that I'm sure.

That's right, it's the Claw, not Spots.
Leopard Spots is a video I-Game.
That's why I'm the Uniman and not the IGTman. :rotfl:

Jim As I recall the IGTman was a dick !! :fryingpan: :fryingpan: ( The Devil made me say that )
-
That's true, he was. >:D

Thats funny about the slot parts....
Luckily I got home first today and got the box of reels in the garage before my wife got home.
No explaining to do! I am lucky, my kids are also on board with this as well :Tongue_Out: They do need money for gas...Thanks for all the info guys....it will be sometime before I post a wanted add...my wife would kill me.....I kinda like the double diamond free spin......I like to keep to the typical strips....Iam not a huge fan of the tremple/tribal ones....lol....

Perfect.. Track those kits like a hawk.., get home early or stop home to hide the goods.. Know your delivery times, people! (I do, to the min :cool_thumb_up: )
When I get caught 'kit-handed', I just yell "It's a Deluxe, it's a damn Deluxe".. She has no clue what that means, but it seems to work.. (I scream that no matter what part or kit comes in the mail btw) Ha

Single In-line Memory Module. They are widely used for computer memory application. Today's memory modules are DIMMs (Dual In-line Memory Module). They one's for IGT (and the older computer types) are single because the memory contacts on both sides of the board are redundant (the same on both sides_, on the newer (Dual) memory they are not.
-
Theres GOTTA be a way to read and write to those simms.......nobody has figured out how to do this yet....?
-
There is a forum member that sells the devices. He sells 3 devices. One for Simms, one for "R" boards, and one for 039 boards.

$20-30 buys about any SIMM out there, and if you need a specific SIMM a few of our members can help you out.

If you will go back to the old site you will find enough material about sound simms to write a book.
You said all your getting is legacy sounds, have you went into sound setup and changed settings from legacy to enhanced sounds ?
-
I know people have said 5 reels are stuck with the legacy...
That is not true. While I'll admit the 5 reelers dont get the love the 3 reel games get, as far as sound, but There are plenty of 5 reel games that have enhanced sounds and/or dedicated SIMMs. Go research on the Archive site like Buzz suggested. Lots of homework already done on SIMMs there.
-
Hopefully someone will come up with a way to do so, I would love to be able to add custom sounds to an IGT machine

I'll tell you exactly how to do it. Buy a simm burner and down load a FREE program called HxD.
HxD is a hex editor program, you read what ever simm you want to hack with your burner, save it to HxD and hack away. Whole lot like changing a eprom, but a whole lot bigger file.
By the way, I'm not that Guy !!
