Title: WTB: NXT2 MPU
Post by: Yoeddy1 on October 12, 2015, 08:20:36 PM: So the guys out here have been giving me info about NXT2 and I'm really considering going that route to get smoother gameplay, expanded sounds with some 5x4 games, and expansion for future upgrades.

I have a 4:3 LCD and don't really have an interest in going widescreen. I'm not planning to add a top monitor either or an LED button deck. Would just like smooth performance with some of the newer games. I realize that I would need to keep my NXT1 MPU for games like Super Jackpot Party and Big Money Cheese Caper.

Hopefully this upgrade would make sense with my configuration.

Zeus 2, Gorilla Chief, Great Eagle 2, John Wayne, Eye of the Dragon, Wolverton, Dean Martin's Wild Party, Black Knight, Brazilian Beauty, Invaders from the Planet Moohlah are a few that I'm assuming will work.

Post by: coolwavepic on January 12, 2016, 02:29:07 PM: Yes. And you can get Wizard of Oz Ruby Slippers (does not require TSE board) to play. It requires a top monitor. You can use a PC monitor and will be fine.

Airplane and Jackpot Block Party you can play on your setup without a 2nd monitor. All G+ and G+ 5x4 (not Deluxe), Money Burst series.

I think another member here got it to work without the top monitor. Same BB1 with NXT2. I'll double check and see if it was a setting etc.

It's in "Game" options, you have to scroll down to the bottom.
