I have a Bally 6000 and it has a serial Gen2 printer. I went through the setup #11 with the test button and got everything set up for just printing tickets. There is no coin gear or hopper in this slot.
I had to change out the printer do to poor printing and the DBV would not accept them. Got an exact replacement from SPIN, Inc. setup for the Bally 6000.
if I go to #4 pushing the test button it only shows coup. for coupon and when I press the spin button it issues a void ticket so it is communicating.
My problem is when in play and I want to print a ticket the slot goes to hp for hand pay. I'm I missing something here? I have gone through all the #11 setting and it looks good to me. I have a version 3.1 home TITO connecting to J10 on the motherboard. I did put the old printer back in with the same result as the new one.
Any ideas??
