Post by: bricke on December 04, 2022, 05:54:50 AM
Hi all,

I have the Wild Dice from eagle co.LTD.
I ran into a problem with the machine after changing the backup battery (that was low in voltage) i started the machine.
It powered on and i went into the test menu.
Testing everything, when testing te unit there was en I/O error.
For this machine if have no technical documentation or anyone who has it.
If anyone would be able to help me figure out what could be wrong or what i need to do to make the machine running normal again.
write me a msg or reply  on the post.
Thanks in advance for the help

Hi,
Thank you very much for the tip!
Would you be able to help me out with the problem?
Or know anyone who has this type of machine or knows a way around to let it work?
Thanks in advance and have a wonderfull day.

That is a great game!
Hopefully some of our experienced members will comment on this soon.
Give them a little time as it's Sunday here.

Yes it looks like a very fun enjoying game.
Thats why im desperate for it to work :).
My first tought is that it wouldnt be a very difficult or big issue because the machine turns on.
So i think it will have something to do with some old wiring or old contacts that need to be replaced.
Hopefully someone here has the knowledge to help me with it.

Let me start with just a few basics.
Try powering off the machine, then pull out and push back in (firmly) the MPU board and power back on.
Also, inspect just to make sure all the connectors are seated and that nothing was pulled when you removed the MPU.

Hey man,

Thanks for the tip,
i already replugged everything thinking it maybe was a loose connector.
When checking, behind the screen there is some old contact( i think they are contact) and maybe the problem is there?
But its a hassle to get the screen of because its an old crt, and i think the cable of the tv inside is a bit short to get it removed.
i wil try again for sure to check if everything is connect rightly.
thanks in advance for the answere.
Do you happen to know anyone with the same machine i would like to buy the manuals of this machine.
great day.
