Title: Not allowed to send personal messages?

I tried looking around for rules regarding personal messages, and I couldn’t find anything. I posted a WTB in the classified section and someone sent a personal message, but apparently I can’t respond to it or create a personal message. I am a contributing member if that makes a difference.

Now that you have 3 posts you should be able to send and respond to PMs.

Glad to see this. Having the same issue as a contributing member and couldn't send anything to work out a classified listing purchase. Will try to go post a bit and give it another go.

Sorry for the inconvenience, folks. We had some bad actors registering accounts and then spamming our members via PM, so we implemented a small hurdle for new users to have to jump over before they would have full access to PMs.
