I'm it could come down to personal opinions like it usually does, but which igt s+ games do you guys think are the most rare. I tried searching but didn't come up with anything. Thanks
-
Not sure what the most rare is, but as a game kit collector, I have a few that I just never see as complete kits. Tidal Wave, and Volcano. Both have unique game play compared to normal.
Seems like the most popular, but more common but not easy to find are games like 4th of July, Bullseye, Coral Reef, and Spin Till You Win. The later three have a spin till you win feature. A less known clone of Spin Till You Win is 8 ball, which I like the graphics better on than Spin Till You Win.
Fun thread, hope we get more input.

Thanks for the reply.
Like I mentioned in the welcome wagon I bought a house with a slot machine business from 10+ years ago and there are lots of game kits in there. Like like gold silver bronze, diamond games, sizzling games, haywire, chaos. .. just wondering which games people don't see too often.
-
Chaos is another one that you do not see often. Have that one too, it's like a Red White & Blue Haywire, pretty neat.
-
Somebody the other day had a S+ Double Top Dollar, that is an extremely rare game I think as it was widely believed the Double didn't come out till the S2000 platform
-
While it may not be as "rare" the Haywire Deluxe is a sought after theme also.

Cool about the Double Top Dollar. Roz had that kit brand new, said it was rare. Glad I bought it from her. Looks real nice lit up with it's color scheme.
-
I just sold a Chaos and a most amazing one. Double spin 5 times pay. Love how if the first 2 reels could be a pay but the third was not. It would re-spin the third reel while playing the tune "I'm in the money" for a possible win. I started to keep that one because it was different.

You beat me to that one! I was thinking the same thing... I never knew of a DTD s plus until that post.

I'm sure more than a few were surprised by that one

Here is a beautiful piece of art work S+. Not sure how rare this theme is in S+. Has a slight modification though.
-
Well here's a one of a kind extremely rare piece that no one else has. Complete with topper
-
Wow, that Wine and Roses. I thought that kit did not come out until something like 2009 or so for the S2000. I see the award glass is showing credits, not coin, so looks to be S2000 kit. this kit uses a standard Double Diamond chip, so would be easy to run that kit in an S-Plus.
Here is what is getting me, the reel glass pictured is a themed S-plus glass, so really makes me wonder if they indeed did make this kit for an S-Plus.
BTW, if you use a Double Diamond Haywire chip, you can add the Haywire feature to your Wine and Roses game. :-)
-
I got this S+ kit with S+ chips (without the reel glass). I added the S2000 reel glass and modified the the S+ display board to fit the S2000 reel glass to work in the S+ chassis.
-
Cool! Nice job on the reel glass. I wonder if this was indeed meant to be an S2000 kit, but someone just used a Double Diamond SP chip rather than the S2000 Double Diamond SB chip?
I am trying to figure out what the later production S2000 kits are. Wine and Roses, as well as Emerald Rose were offered by IGT back in 2009-2010 to bring new life to S2000 cabinets. Sold them at a good price through G2E promotions to encourage Casinos to update old worn out games with crap reel strips.
Sorry for straying off topic.
-
I have not seen many of these, it is a s- Wurlitzer 3 coin.
I see it is in the book but have never seen one up close
-

Here's my Wurlitzer
-
These are the games I had a tough time finding and didn't see often:
Volcano
Tidal Wave
Double Diamond Double Spin
5x Pay Double Spin
Chaos
Victory (Although I'm not sure if this was a clone made by a 3rd party, it is the only title on this list I don't have)
Bonus sizzling 7's
Then these were not rare, but difficult to find them because everyone hoarded them.
4th of July
Double Diamond Deluxe
Haywire
Haywire Deluxe
Coral Reef
Bull's Eye
Spin 'til you Win
5x Pay Deluxe
9 line Triple Diamond
I'm sure there are a couple more that I'm forgetting.
-
I have a 2CM Chaos kit. It's basically a RW&B game with haywire feature. The glass is pretty colorful, I need to get a better picture of it. I swap it out with the Bullseye kit in my avatar from time to time.
-
Heres mine:
-
I have this early S+ with custom glass for Mirage Resorts Casino, not an IGT theme.
-
Nice! therockinelvis should be around in 3......2.....1
-
"Love Me Tender" WOW. I'm All Shook Up
-
Not sure how rare it is, but my favorite is Pinball.
-
S+ Barcrest games in general are kind of rare as they moved to S2000's shortly thereafter. There's another S+ theme I believe was called little devils, it had another set of stepper reels in the top box for a bonus game. I think I saw Harvs post it once since he likes to collect these old S+ Barcrest games.
-
Wish I had a picture but IGT Splus had a MGM theme with wide reels with the MGM Lions on them.
The only wide reels Splus I have seen
-
I suspect you're thinking of the Lion's Share slot machine?
MGM Grand in Las Vegas kept one of them on the floor for about 20 years with a progressive jackpot that just kept building. It was eventually won in 2014, and the lucky winners won $2.4 Million for their $3 wager, AND they got to keep the slot machine as well!
-
Yes that looks like it.
I sold the kit out of one and also the customer needed the reel shelf also to make everything line up as well.
-
I'll throw my S+ Barcrest into the mix. It is called " Hula Hula". It plays very similar to an S2000 Barcrest " Triple Double diamond deluxe with cheese "; which I also have.. pics and video link below... Bill. https://youtu.be/87odlR8iHMc

I've had this Statue of Liberty complete glass set, Three reels and S+ 10mhz board with chips for 15 years
-
Nice!!
-
Probably not too many of these Win Place Show's around. It's a clone of RW&B.
-
I have that glass somewhere.
-
Very colorful and never seen one till now
-

That is SWEET!

I'm sure there are a couple more that I'm forgetting.
I have Victory Rick...Live on the floor for about 23 years now...lol...although not for too much longer I'm afraid to say.
I was asked to take it off soon and will be replaced with a BB2....ugh.

I had a Double Diamond Double Spin like that. Don't know why I always sell the ones I should keep.
-
Triple Diamond 9 Coin were pretty rare.
As in the 9 line version? I have this kit. Was just looking at it yesterday.
-
The S+ Determinator game is the rarest one I have seen. It used a modified S+ board and the game would print out a ticket for a free meal, or a real estate seminar when you won.
they were popular on Fremont street
-
That's different....Ive never seen an S+ with a Dallas rom chip.
-
I'm a huge fan of 4th of July. It has nudge up, nudge down, and spin to win. "We're in the Money" tune plays on spin to win. Here's a picture of mine.
-
Thought I would throw this one up I just picked up a couple of days ago. It is an IGT S Plus
"Play with the Presidents" I have no idea about it but I have never seen one. It has the reel prom from a WILDSTAR Red White and Blue in it. So I am sure it was a clone of some kind. I have to get some stuff done to get it up and working so I don't know how it will play. I tried to find info on the Wildstar red white and blue to see how it plays but have not been able to find anything yet.
It is different so I thought I would post it. Have no idea if it would be considered rare or not.
