JCM Sentry error

I have a Bally S9000 Alpha I just acquired, it has a UBA and the JCM sentry indicator.

The Sentry shows the flashing blue ambulance yet it still accepts bills. Is this not working properly?

I hate to leave it unplugged like te last owner.

The FIX was to repair a broken single brown wire ( it was attached to a single molex connector.). It was located somewhat behind the BV/Cashbox housing.
