Post by: Podfun on January 09, 2020, 02:29:37 PM
So I purchased what I was told is a brand new and never used you know the story set clear chip for my Aristocrat mk6 slot machine off ebay.com  All 3 things I purchased this week off eBay all were damage and not what was  I was supposed to get  So when I open this package today I figured no surprise I know I'm not no slot Tech but I know these don't go in Especially not set on fire dirty or corroded I will try to link under this post the photos as well as the eBay seller be worn don't purchase from him even if they make it right in the end there's no need to ever send this out to anybody If I wasn't smart  enough and ended up and put this in my machine I could cause permanent damage By the way one of the legs is broken like really  Brand spankin new

I'm sorry I know right from wrong and that is just pure wrong you don't send something like that to a new  Customer If I was not smart enough and put that in my Slot machine as is Talk about damage anyway  Somebody somewhere had a look at it put it in a package  Melling it out to me getting my money thinking I won't do anything Well I'm saying something about it I purchase 3 things for my machines each not what it was supposed to be

Punctuating your sentences would really help here. I can hardly read what you said.
Is John Haas the Ebay seller's store/account name? If not, this won't help anyone here.
Ebay has a money back guarantee when things like this happen. Open a case, get your money back and leave the seller negative feedback if he won't reply to you.

Ebay can really run hot and cold. I bought SPC 2.0 and 2.5 II boards and they came through fine. I also got a pair of Audit locks w/keys successfully as well. However a couple of years ago I got set chips for an IGT S+ and they came through with bent pins. I think they were bent from poor packaging and getting crushed in the mail.

In reply to Shortrackskater, he's on the money. Ebay supports the customer quite well. As a seller, I had someone who (through Ebay) forced me to take a return and refund the money, even though what the guy was claiming (a prop used to show the item wasn't included) was explicitly spelled out both in the title of the ad and the body.

Definitely go back through Ebay or PayPal.
