Title: New BlueBird OS Guide
Post by: JDKMunch on June 27, 2014, 03:10:54 PM
For those who are new to the BlueBird slot machine -  here are a few tips:

Each game belongs to a "family" of operating system.   The OS type is printed on the front of the CF card.

Here are some common OS Family Types

OS1221 (Don't know the family type but many older games use it)
2.1
G1.3
B1.6
D1.3
W1.2
E1.11
H9.1
H13.33

It's fairly simple -  Now - if you come across a game that uses OS1800, I have found that you can always use a newer version of that family OS like OS1840 without any issue

1221 goes back to the beginning.  No Family Type for the 12XX series.  Started out as 1201, then 1212 then 1221.

Yes - look at NLG archive and all games and
Operating systems are listed there.

I am a huge fan of the platform - and

Some of the newer games are awesome
Happy Days, Aladdin, Willy Wonka

I love all the legacy games too.

Can someone post the file here?  I don't have access to the old server.

Here is it. Doesn't cover much of the newer games but it's a start.

I have started to make a Game and OS list which I have also split into OS groups.
Using an Excel file always makes it a bit easier to add and modify things. The file is attached.
Somewhere out in the blue there must be a master list of BB1 and BB2 sets but it seems to be a state secret.
There are over a hundred games on my list. Anybody is welcome to add to it what they can.

Here is where I get a little confused. My machine came with Zeus 2 and Palace of Riches 3. Zeus had H9.23 1053, Palace was paired with H9.22 1040. Both work with H9.23 1053 along with Kingdom of the Titans.

My question is, what is the difference between those two OS cards, and what could be better in the 1060 version?
