Title: V5500 (I think) no display

I got this machine as an extra with some working machines.

Mpu has green lights, replaced battery.  On power up, DBV cycles and lighting turns on.

No sound, no lights on buttons.  Coin mech is powered.

No static on monitor. 

First-  is this a V5500?

What should I try next?  Is there a way to check the re-cirk-it fuses?

Here is the model number.  Looks like it may have been tampered with ;)

I noticed some damage to the monitor board- it was completely fried.

Replaced with a cleaner, but untested 1492 board using the same tube.

Monitor now has static, but still a dark screen and no display or button lights.

Would the tube have been likely damaged as well?
