I am in need of a very experienced slot technician that is familiar with newer Ballys, Konamis, IGT, Aristocrat, Etc. A bulk of our business is now International below is something my secretary/ translator made for any perspective people. I am not looking for someone that knows how to work on just S2000/ I Games... hardly mess with that stuff anymore I need someone that really knows this newer stuff inside and out.
We are located in Dayton, OH and every year keep growing.... job security is not an issue as long as you perform.
SUMMARY:
It is the responsibility of the Slot Technician to reprogram, troubleshoot, and renovate on all makes and models of slot and video poker machines, as well as associated equipment.
Compensation is based on experience.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Performs all repairs and service requirements necessary for slot machines and related gaming equipment
• Ability to configuration machines to accept international or domestic currency
• Responsible for the repair, preventative maintenance and routine maintenance of all slot machines and slot related items, including player tracking and progressive systems
• Prioritize workload to meet business demands
• Perform machine moves, installs and configuration changes as directed by management
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical manuals and related documents such as electrical schematics and understand the functionality of electrical components
• Participate in projects in including RAM clears, key chipping, machine moves, conversions and upgrades.
• Responsible for the initial set up and testing of all new slot products
• Maintains the integrity of the slot machine equipment and secure all company assets and property at all times
• Must have some knowledge of data communication circuits and devices
• Maintain detailed knowledge of multiple vendor product lines
• Other job related duties as requested by Management
QUALIFICATIONS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the duties and responsibilities satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
• Ability to program newer machines such as WMS BB2, IGT G20, IGT G23, IGT Trimlines, IGT SMLD, monitor and board repair.
• Excellent problem solving, multi-tasking, organization and prioritization skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written), fluent English and articulate
• Ability to work efficiently, independently and cohesively, consistently producing quality results
• Bilingual in Spanish a plus.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
•High School Diploma or GED
•Minimum of three years of experience as a Slot Technician
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
• Must possess basic mathematical skills to include ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide specific to position responsibilities.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
• Ability to read and understand all policies and procedures.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with clients, employees, and members of management in English, specific to position duties and responsibilities.
• Must be able to complete standard forms and reports.
