Title: Igt 3x4x5x slot machine need help
Post by: TravisChuter on March 03, 2024, 12:38:54 PM
Hi! I have an IGT 3x4x5x slot machine. When I turn it on the reel lights and digital display don't come on. Also the lights on the mother board aren't coming on either. I have changed the watch battery on the board didn't seem to do anything. I've taken out the power supply opened it up found a fuse. It looks kind of speckle as if it might have blown. It's a 6.3A 250V ceramic fuse. Haven't tried replacing yet. Looking for some help on what to do. Thank you in advance.

Get yourself a digital multimeter if you want to check stuff in a slot machine.
You need to check with a multimeter if that fuse has continuity or not.

Yes...make sure all the pins in the connector are in...none is slipped out.
Which power supply you have?
There's a few different ones.
Also, check the capacitors....are they flat...not swollen?

Once you have it back in, you're going to want to try to check that white Molex power connector on the bottom right hand side of the backplane for certain voltages.
Three points to check, and let us know what voltage readings you get in VDC.

Power Supply Model is WP203F11. Looking at all capacitors they seem to be OK. Nothing out of the ordinary.

AFter you put it back in, turn on the power switch, and check the voltages down on that power connector.
The voltage readings you give us will help us tell you what's wrong.
