Title: EEPROM DEVICE ERROR

Replaced Batt and worked great
Went into service mode and messed around with setting and went to Eeprom device error open door..
Please help with what is next step..

From what I read I have to keep trying to reset machine to clear error "call attendant eeprom device"error
Hold reset for 5 seconds close door turn jackpot reset key...
Is this the correct way to fix?
FYI Batt just replaced..worked great until I changed settings...

I'm stock on OPEN DOOR error
Reset button is not beeping
Open door error will not turn off after door shut.

Took a 1000 times but fixed from doing reset

First you get CMOS error, then press the white self test button till you hear a DING.

Close the door and you get a EEPROM error, turn the jackpot reset key and the game will come up, if your battery is good and connected correctly.
