Title: JCM WBA (UBA-10 AUS) Firmware Update For New Australian $5 Note

Hi all,


Those of you who live in this part of the world will know that the Australian Reserve Bank has released a new $5 note.


Unfortunately my bill validator on my IGT machine doesn't accept it.


Details of the validator are:


UBA-10 AUS 024V1.40-13


Does anyone have details of a company that could update the firmware for me, preferably in Sydney?


The size of the note is the same as the old one, so I'm pretty sure only a firmware update in needed.

How'd you go with getting your bill validator updated? I'm looking at doing the same thing.

No luck as of yet. I contacted a few people here in Sydney but they're only allowed to help licensed gaming venues. I'm thinking I'll wait for the new $10 to come out too and then it may be worthwhile sending the validator to the USA to have it updated.
